I have always been an encourager and elevator, and I desire to introduce ladies to who they are created to be. I have been an entrepreneur/stylist for 26 years. Loyalty has kept me behind a chair and in a box, not anymore. I am stepping from behind the chair and standing before you all to show you what can happen when you choose to do the work it takes to heal and elevate. I want to facilitate a generation on a journey from decorating and embellishing hurt and dysfunction to living a life on purpose and healed.

Things are always changing in life, and on this journey, you will be doing one of the three things mentioned. Coming out of a storm, entering a storm, or standing amid a storm. I can testify to all three I have experienced situations that the average person struggles to recover. I was a teenage mother, and I have been in physical and emotionally abusive relationships, I have been a single parent raising four small children by myself. I have tragically lost a child and grandchild to medical inequity. As women, we wear multiple hats; we handle economics, psychology, culinary skills, and are caregivers while trying to hold our family and our lives together and pray not to fold under pressure.
Mental illness, Divorce, gang violence, and the prison has also been a part of my childhood and adolescent experience. I have adopted a transparent approach because I believe that transparency is how we dismantle lies. Brokenness tends to gather those who have experienced it together. I desire to create a safe community where those who share similar experiences can heal and grow into a beautiful masterpiece. However, we may have different backgrounds but united, and focused on improving; change can occur.

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Nia Marie. I have been an entrepreneur and business owner for over 26 years. I have been dedicated to specialized hair care that often carries a physical and emotional transformation bond and the business components. I have trained and mentored many who have sat in my styling seat. I have stood behind and comforted many; today, I am standing before you to showcase how introspection and transformation by truth heal.
I have completed public speaking and creative writing coursework and host a blog. My course studies have included psychology and persuasive speech, leadership training and community organization . These courses, as well as being a life long resident of Fresno, have allowed me the ability to engage and build trust with individuals in communities where most aren’t comfortable interacting. The Urban Ministry Institute courses and practicing soul care had allowed me to mentor young men and women into becoming entrepreneurs and restoring purpose when life became challenging.
My holistic teaching approach has assisted many on a journey to explore their best self.
Lastly, I have published two books and host a vlog on YouTube conducting healing from trauma using universal principles and practicing making positive choices. My experience at meeting people where they are and working with community relations, program implementation while advocating for those who have been historically underestimated is my ministry. I pride myself on being honest, firm, fair, and professional.
